Description:
With the EV ELX200-18SP , you get a state-of-the-art amplifier that is ideal for DJs, solo artists, musicians, and bands. It is also a great investment for rental companies. This system is equipped with an 18" woofer and is the largest model in the series. It delivers up to 1200 watts of peak power and can be used in a variety of scenarios. Its great feature is that you can control it remotely using Bluetooth and a mobile device, with the ability to control its functions and 6 additional units from the same series. If you forgot your mobile or its battery ran out? Don't worry, there are direct control options through the device's rear display.
Electro-Voice equipped the ELX200-18SP with a 1,200-watt Class D amplifier and an 18" EVS-18L woofer. Frequency response ranges from 47 to 105 Hz, with a maximum sound pressure of 132 dB. On the back, there are XLR/Jack combo inputs for audio signals, as well as XLR outputs that you can connect to other speakers like the ELX200-15P . You can adjust the crossover frequency to 80 Hz, 100 Hz, 120 Hz, or 150 Hz. Another practical thing is the presence of the "Peak Limiter" protection system modified from professional audio systems, which protects the speaker, ensures consistent performance and preserves your investment.
The Electro-Voice ELX200 series is designed for professionals who don’t want to compromise on sound quality and ease of use, whether on the move or on the set-up. The QuickSmart DSP configuration options give you features like 3-band EQ and three presets (Music, Live, Club) with sub- and overhead matching. Plus, there are five dedicated slots for saving and recalling settings, input and output level controls, and a display with notifications that even appear on your mobile phone. The body is made of 15mm plywood with a powder-coated steel front, and the device weighs just 29kg, making it easy to transport thanks to the side handles.
Founded in 1927, Electro-Voice has been dedicated to developing amplification systems and microphones since the 1930s. Originally based in Indiana, they are considered an industry leader, developing many technologies still used today, such as the hum canceling coil that was the basis for the humbucker guitar pickup. Over its long history, the company has expanded to offer a wide range of products for all levels from beginner to professional.
The EV ELX200 subwoofers are recommended for bands, artists and DJs who want extra power and expression in low-frequency sounds. The flagship model ELX200-18SP , for example, with overhead units such as the ELX200-15P , gives you a lot of power on stage. For smaller events, such as dance parties and small gatherings, the ELX200-12SP can be set up with two ELX200-10P or ELX200-12P speakers. The DSP system allows for custom settings for the ELX, EKX, ELX200 and ZLX models. And if you need a larger system for large parties or fixed installations, the series can be easily expanded with additional units and managed using the app. This series combines professional sound with easy management of your speaker systems.
